Okay. Did you click the link above? Have you completed Day One? Great! Let’s focus on Day Two - Step Two.

STEP TWO - YOU MUST PROTECT THAT WHICH OUR FATHER HAS BEGUN IN YOU!

It is your responsibility to protect, guard that which the Father has started in you. You must put in the work. This will only happen if you prioritize and value what the Father is working in you. It’s up to you. The work must begin in your mind. Why? Because what you think determines what you do and say. Look at what the Word says about the mind in the passages below:

*Proverbs 4:23 (AMP) Watch over your heart with all diligence, For from it flow the springs of life.

*Philippians 2:5 (AMP) Have this same attitude in yourselves which was in Christ Jesus [look to Him as your example in selfless humility],

*Romans 12:2 (AMP) And do not be conformed to this world [any longer with its superficial values and customs], but be [a]transformed and progressively changed [as you mature spiritually] by the renewing of your mind [focusing on godly values and ethical attitudes], so that you may prove [for yourselves] what the will of God is, that which is good and acceptable and perfect [in His plan and purpose for you].

*Psalm 119:11 (NLT) Your word I have treasured and stored in my heart, That I may not sin against You.

It is your responsibility to protect your mind. How do you protect your mind? It is done through the study of the Word of God. I love good books, articles, blogs, etc.; but, they do not replace my time in the Word. The Word of God is what transforms my thinking and protects my mind from wrong thinking which leads to wrong living. Your focus on the Word of God during this season is critical to protecting your thought life.

Today, meditate on the passages above. At the end of the day, journal how meditating on and memorizing these passages provided a guard over your thoughts.
