The Growth Experience

Hello A WOMEN WORTH HOLDING ONTO GLOBAL CORE! I am so excited to greet you and to continue our GROWTH EXPERIENCE. Our goal is to continue growing forward. This requires intentionality.  We are becoming a community of women who first love the Lord and then themselves and others.  In this community, we demonstrate our love through our reach to each other and how we treat one another.  Our reach is not to be messy, not to tear other women down, or find out the latest and greatest gossip, but our reach is to develop Godly/healthy relationships through what we call the “PEA Process”. What is the “PEA Process?” It’s simple. We:

  • Pray - 1 Thessalonians 5:17 says, “17 Never stop praying.” This word praying means to pray, worship GOD. God centered relationships necessitate that we spend time with God before spending time with others. Time in prayer is essential to building relationships GOD's way.

  • Encourage - 1 Thessalonians 5:11 says, “11 So encourage each other and build each other up, just as you are already doing.” This word encourages means to embolden, and build up. Our time together, our conversation should serve to strengthen, empower, and lift up.

  • Accountable - Proverbs 27:17 NLT says, “As iron sharpens iron, so a friend sharpens a friend.” This word sharpen means to severe literally and figuratively. Through the GROWTH EXPERIENCE, our connection/relationships should make us better. This portion of the process includes:

    • Holding your partner to the established standard to make each woman better by:

      • Encouraging your GE Partner to complete/participate in the following:

        • Sunday Morning Manna

        • Morning of Prayer

        • A Word of Wisdom on Wednesdays

        • Complete their read through the Word

        • Complete preparation assignments provided

Here, each woman has a place and is valued.  Our goal is becoming and equipping women to be A WOMAN WORTH HOLDING ONTO GLOBALLY. The GROWTH EXPERIENCE portion of our time in this community is intended to strengthen our woman-to-woman relationships. We accomplish this by weekly committing to reaching out to one member of the A WOMAN WORTH HOLDING ONTO GLOBAL CORE COMMUNITY. Our method of building relationship is through guarded vulnerability. What is guarded vulnerability? Good question. This is the process of building relationships in phases and stages. It’s where we allow ourselves the time necessary to develop healthy woman-to-woman relationships. Let me encourage you.  Don’t overreach.  Our journey is not overnight.  It will take time.  Allow the time necessary to develop these precious relationships.  Don’t set yourself up for failure by attempting to do too much too soon.  Building relationships takes time.  Allow the time necessary to develop these precious relationships.  For this Growth Experience, only reach out once during the week to the woman designated for that week. Limit your calls to five minutes. This is just a check-up and check-in. It’s a call to say, “Hello, I just wanted to reach out and check on you.” Simple.  Remember, we are in the stage of guarded vulnerability.

Our goal is for every woman to be touched by another woman in the A WOMAN WORTH HOLDING ONTO GLOBAL CORE COMMUNITY each week. We accomplish this with purpose and on purpose. 

To begin our GROWTH EXPERIENCE Journey, complete and send the GROWTH EXPERIENCE INFORMATION form below by Saturday, February 17, 2024. After receiving your completed form, on Saturday, February 17, 2024, you will receive a text message with the this week's A WOMAN WORTH HOLDING ONTO GLOBAL CORE COMMUNITY member for you to contact. Thereafter, each Thursday, you will receive the contact information for your next AWWHO GLOBAL CORE member to reach out to. It is important that you reach to the women assigned you during the weeks assigned. Deviating from your assigned AWWHO will leave a woman untouched by a member of the community during that given week. Your lists will change weekly ensuring that you will have the opportunity to touch each woman in the community throughout the year.
